This academic literacy course was designed to equip international pupils because of the essay writing skills and knowledge necessary to transition effectively up to a very first year tertiary system. This program addresses the core academic skills students need to advance their knowledge in essay writing being an assessment that is common across disciplines in Australian universities. This course provides pupils having a tangible pair of educational and expert skills language that is targeting, use of formal or educational English, creation of persuasive arguments and presentation of tips within an organised, clear and coherent manner; in addition includes a location of elective study, by which pupils can explore a place of great interest.
